Cindi is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and owner of Pilates to Fit, LLC in Lake Charles, LA. Cindi attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she studied dance and was introduced to the importance of Joseph Pilates’ work with dancers recovering from injuries.
Having been a dancer the majority of her life, Cindi has always had an interest for the human anatomy. In 1996, she decided to make a career of it, and she received her Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. In 2003, she attended a Pilates course to learn the basic concepts and impact Pilates can have in the field of wellness.
From there, she researched all current Pilates programs that had been incorporated into the field of physical therapy, and eventually had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Christine Romani-Ruby PT, D.Ed, MPT, ATC, PMA® CPT. She was able to advance her Pilates education under the tutelage of PHI Pilates and became a National Pilates Certified teacher in 2009 through the NPCP.
