Dr. Craig Ruby is the Program Director for the upcoming doctoral of physical therapy program at Seton Hill University. He holds a BS in Biology, a Master of Physical Therapy and a doctorate in Education. Before entering academia, Craig practiced as a physical therapist for 16 years, specializing in orthopedics. He completed his training through PHI Pilates in 2002 and is certified through the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP). He is a master teacher for PHI Pilates. He has presented on the topic of Pilates at national and international conferences including the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting, The National Athletic Training Association’s Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposia, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Annual Conference. Dr. Ruby has presented on the topics of service learning, international clinical education and healthcare disparities for persons with disabilities with over twenty presentations at national and international conferences over the past five years. He has also co-authored two book chapters on service learning.
