Betty holds a BS in nutrition science, a MS in physiology, and is presently studying for her doctorate in physical therapy at Pittsburgh University.
She is a comprehensively trained Pilates teacher and has always been a mover. Biking, weightlifting and yoga are some of her favorite activities. Betty was introduced to Pilates while recovering from an injury to her elbow. She found that the slow and guided movements performed in Pilates sessions decreased her elbow pain, something that the medication failed to do. Betty realized the power of proper movement and how it can truly improve the outlook of one’s health. She is eager to share healthy movement through Pilates with her clients.
